The Henry's Fork Foundation is proud to announce that the following scholarships are available to support the work of the Henyr's Fork Foundation.
Don C. Byers Memorial Scholarship
Don Byers served on the Board of Directors of the Henry's Fork Foundation from June 1992 until his death. Don passed away in 1996 after losing a battle with cancer. He loved the outdoors and especially the Henry's Fork. Many years ago he discovered the Henry's Fork and thought that it was such an extraordinary place, and wanted to preserve and protect it. It was Don's wish to make a contribution to help fund the education and training of young people who are interested in the Henry's Fork and natural resource management.
The scholarship award is for $2,500 and includes an internship that provides an opportunity to work with the Henry’s Fork Foundation summer field crews doing data collection on the river, monitoring fish populations, stream restoration, and water quality work.
