The Henry’s Fork Foundation has implemented a long-term research program to focus on aquatic ecology, fisheries, hydrology, water quality, and their impact on the watershed. Through this research, an on-the-ground stewardship program was developed to apply research results and thereby preserving the resources by making informed choices for protection. The Henry’s Fork Watershed Center was opened in May, 1995 to serve scientists, government agencies, and citizens by providing them with the opportunity to understand the resources in the Henry’s Fork watershed. The Center houses a research library and also serves as the administrative office for the Henry’s Fork Watershed Council.
